Gold Seal Flour

Jamaica is a huge consumer of flour, it is amongst the main list of starches and a must-have on the basic food list purchased by locals weekly. The island had only one major distributor for the commodity, which meant that there was plenty of room for the market to accommodate another player. Enters Gold Seal.

Gold Seal is one of the brands that is owned by the Seprod Group of Companies. With a strong manufacturing background, the Group seized the opportunity to produce another affordable and high-quality product and launched Gold Seal Flour in 2018.

The product launched was handled by another agency but failed to hit the mark in what the client called an “off-target campaign”. Adlib was then asked to reimagine the creative to bring the campaign in alignment with the intended core target audience.

Our approach was to present a grass-root option that the average Jamaican could relate to, after all, they were the ones consuming the product.
